Punjab is the most populous province of Pakistan. The real meaning of Punjab is ‘’the land of fiver rivers’’. These five rivers an (Indus river, Chenab River, Ravi River, Jhelum River, and Sutlej River)

Punjab was divided into two provinces after the division of Hindustan. Now both Pakistan and India have Punjab. Pakistan has 56% of the Punjabi area and India has 44% area.

While the total population of Punjab in Pakistan is 110 million. And Indian Punjab has a population of 27.98%.

The state of Pakistan Punjab has an approximately 553km international border. In Pakistan, Punjab shares its borders with the Sindh, Khyber, and Baluchistan. And in India Punjab share its borders with the Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.
